News - Yerevan Among Top Destinations for Russian New Year Travelers

YEREVAN, January 5. /ARKA/. Yerevan has emerged as one of the five most popular foreign cities for Russians planning their New Year celebrations, as reported by TASS, referencing a study by the travel planning service OneTwoTrip. Istanbul tops the international list, accounting for 8.6% of total hotel reservations abroad. Following Istanbul, Russians are choosing destinations like Dubai (3.9%), Minsk (3.8%), Yerevan (2.7%), and Paris (2.5%). Experts noted an increase in international travel this year, with a share of 35%. Meanwhile, 65% of travelers will stay within their home country.
