YEREVAN, December 30. Power utility company 'Armenia Electric Networks' has announced the complete restoration of electricity for over 60,000 subscribers following a fire at the 'Vardashen' substation. The blaze erupted around midnight on December 28, severing power supply to a vast area. Two firefighting units responded promptly, containing the fire by 00:53 and extinguishing it by 01:20. Despite the quick resolution of the fire, repair efforts spanned more than two days due to damage on a 200 square meter section of the substation, which required extensive repair work. The incident underscores the critical nature of infrastructure resilience and the ongoing efforts by utility services to ensure minimal disruption for citizens.
