

Issues related to boosting efficiency in the public administration system were discussed under the leadership of the Prime Minister. A meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took place, during which issues within the framework of the Public Administration Reform Strategy concerning the pilot project on performance evaluation in the public administration system and the incentives based on it were discussed. 'It was presented that the program will be aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the public service system, institutional modernization, and the improvement of the efficiency of the public administration system through performance evaluation. Details were provided about the pilot program's principles, scope, and continuity. It was emphasized that the conclusions of the pilot program will form the basis for legislative revisions during 2026.' Participants in the meeting presented various observations, viewpoints, and proposals regarding the program. The Prime Minister highlighted steps aimed at improving human resources and capabilities in the public administration system and, in this context, stressed the need to create conditions for higher qualification. As a result of the discussion, the country's leader instructed those responsible to revise the draft on the basis of the voiced proposals and present it for approval by the Government.
