The Armenian branch of the Armenian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFA) has opened in Yerevan, according to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia. 'The presence of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Armenia will open new opportunities for attracting French capital, creating joint ventures, and bringing Armenian-made products to French and European markets,' said Gevorg Papoyan, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, at the opening ceremony. CCIFA has been a platform for economic dialogue and strategic cooperation between Armenia and France for more than 30 years. The aim of the CCIFA is to stimulate bilateral investments, develop competitive industries, and form a stable and long-term economic partnership between Armenia and France. According to ArmStat, the trade turnover between Armenia and France for the first nine months of 2025 amounted to $162.4 million, up 43.1%.
