On November 11, in Copenhagen, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Denmark's Minister for European Affairs Marie Bjerre. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' press service. The interlocutors discussed the deepening of the Armenia–EU partnership, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming new agenda to be signed soon, which will move the partnership to a qualitatively new level. They referred to achievements recorded in several areas recently and to upcoming tasks, including visa liberalization. Minister Mirzoyan noted that the development of the Armenia–EU partnership is in line with the aspirations of Armenian citizens, which were also expressed in the law enacted this year on launching Armenia's process of accession to the EU. Ararat Mirzoyan and Marie Bjerre exchanged views on the challenges on the path of democratic development and on opportunities for exchanging best practices in overcoming them. In this context, the EU's continued support for Armenia's resilience, including in the fight against hybrid threats, was emphasized. The ministers also discussed the development of bilateral sectoral cooperation between Armenia and Denmark, including in the areas of energy, transport, and diversification of trade. The meeting also touched on cooperation issues in the preparatory work for the EKH summit to be held in Yerevan on May 4, 2026. Ararat Mirzoyan presented the new opportunities for economic cooperation in the region and beyond, based on the outcomes of the August 8 Peace Summit between Armenia and Azerbaijan. In this context, reference was made to Armenia's 'Peace Crossroads' initiative and its inseparable part—the 'TRIPP Path' project, whose implementation is fully in line with the EU's Global Gateway program.
