Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: Yesterday, the UN General Assembly Committee adopted the RF [(Russian Federation)] resolution on the fight against the glorification of Nazism. Armenia is also one of the co-authors of the resolution. The basis of the resolution is the fight against the glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism, and other similar practices that contribute to the exacerbation of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia, and the modern forms of intolerance related to them. 116 countries voted in favor of the document, 11 countries abstained. 54 countries were against [it], including Ukraine, US, Great Britain, Germany, France, Canada, Hungary, Japan, and [several] others. This position of Armenia is noteworthy in the context of recent foreign developments. [PM] Nikol Pashinyan, who after the [Nagorno-Karabakh] war [in 2020] was steadily advancing the anti-Russian line and voting against or abstaining from pro-Russian resolutions during the voting in various international organizations, now not only votes in favor, but also co-authors [them]. Experts were predicting that after the overthrow of the Biden regime [in the US] and the expansion of Russian influence in the region, Pashinyan will "return" to [Russian president] Putin's arms and will find himself in the most absurd situations, as in this case, when he does not even tolerate the former ones [in power] and the opposition in his country, but is co-authoring a resolution against discrimination, xenophobia, and intolerance.
