Mexico sends invitations to 208 countries’ leaders for president-elect’s inauguration

The authorities of Mexico have sent invitations to the heads of 208 countries for the inauguration of President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum, the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) informed the reporters. "In accordance with our diplomatic procedures, the Government of Mexico has sent diplomatic notes of invitation to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the President-elect of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, to all countries with which relations have been established, and international organizations in which the country is involved," stated the Mexican MFA. "Among them are 208 foreign leaders and heads of 34 international organizations," they added.
