News - Greece parliament defense, foreign affairs committee chair expresses support to Armenia

Tigran Mkrtchyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Greece, met with Dimhtrios Konstantinou Kairidis, Acting President of the Standing Committee on National Defense and Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Parliament. At the meeting, Mkrtchyan presented the high level of Armenia-EU and Armenia-Greece cooperation, and the trends of their deepening in the near future, including in the context of cooperation on parliamentary platforms, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the statement issued by the Embassy of Armenia in Greece. Also, the ambassador presented the regional developments, and Armenia's initiatives towards the establishment of stable peace and the main obstacles in that regard. Kairidis, for his part, emphasized the effective cooperation between Armenia and Greece in multilateral parliamentary platforms. Also, he expressed his unequivocal support to Armenia and the Armenian people, and stressed his ties with the Greek Armenian community. In addition, the interlocutors discussed a number of initiatives aimed at the development of mutually beneficial bilateral relations between Armenia and Greece.
