The new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is mechanically a complete analogue of the new Bentley Continental GT, which was released a month ago. The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is equipped with a parallel hybrid system, which includes a 4.0-liter gasoline twin-turbo V8 with a capacity of 600 hp, a 190 hp electric motor, and an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Total power: 790 hp, torque: 999 Nm. The output of the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid power station is formally even higher than that of the much more expensive Bentley Continental GT (771 hp). The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is equipped as standard with the intelligent Porsche Active Ride suspension, with an individual pump for each of the four hydraulic shock absorbers, pivoting mechanisms on the rear axle and carbon-ceramic brakes, without which, with a limited weight of about 2.5 tons, it will not be possible to set records on the race track. The exterior design of the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is no different from just the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid: the same 21-inch Turbonite wheels, i.e. wheels that can only be acquired from Porsche with turbo versions, and various fairings and shields. An aerodynamic body kit made of open-textured carbon fiber is offered as an option: splitter, diffuser, wings, and side skirts. How functional it is is an open question, but it looks undeniably cool and has a Nurburgring circuit record to go along with it. Orders for the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid are now open in Western markets. These cars will start being delivered to customers at the end of the year.
