by Lilit July 3, 2024

Armenia is Russia's ally, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk has said, reports AIF. "We [i.e. Russia] assume that Armenia is our ally. We have very important economic relations. Trade with Armenia is $7.3 billion. Moreover, if we look at the statistics, in January-April, trade increased twice compared to last year. The pace is very good, and the economy is developing very well," said the Russia deputy PM. According to him, Armenia is very active in the format of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). "This year, Armenia chairs the EAEU, and Armenia's contribution is very constructive," Overchuk emphasized.
