USA is set to announce a new military aid package for Ukraine worth more than $2.3bn.

The USA will soon announce a new package of military aid to Ukraine worth over 2.3bn dollars. This was announced by US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin at a meeting with Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov in Washington, Associated Press reports. The new package will include anti-tank weapons, interceptors and ammunition for Patriot and other air defense systems.The announcement was made during a meeting between Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Austin at the Pentagon, Unian reported. This was a strong response to Kiev's request for help in fighting Russian forces in Donetsk Region.
