The EU has been and continues to be an important, key partner in the implementation of reforms in Armenia. Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Armenia, stated this in his welcoming remarks Monday at the beginning of the Armenian Forum for Democracy. Maragos noted that the EU has assisted the justice reforms in Armenia. According to the EU diplomat, work is currently underway on the new partnership agenda between the EU and Armenia. In conclusion, Maragos said that the EU encourages Armenia to continue its efforts towards the development of a comprehensive democracy for the benefit of all citizens of Armenia, so that no one is left behind.
