News - Kremlin: No conditions required to resume Russia-France dialogue

Russia is ready for dialogue with France for the cause; no conditions are required for this, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters Tuesday. "The [Russian] president has repeatedly stated that he is ready for negotiations, especially negotiations for the cause, in order to achieve a concrete result," said the Kremlin spox, answering TASS' question about the possibility of a conversation between the presidents of Russia and France, Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron. "We [i.e. Russia] are ready for dialogue to the extent that our colleagues are ready for it. Absolutely no conditions are required for that," added Peskov. Earlier, French President Macron announced his wish to continue the dialogue with Russian President Putin.
