News - Israel army casualties reach 589 since beginning of conflict’s escalation

Since the beginning of the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on October 7, 2023, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have lost 589 soldiers in battles with the radical Palestinian movement Hamas. This was noted in a statement by the press service of the IDF. According to the latest information, another Israeli soldier was killed in southern of Gaza on Sunday. Thus, the IDF has lost 249 soldiers since the start of its ground operation in this Palestinian enclave.
