Join Our Team: In-House Dental Biller Needed
We're on the lookout for a meticulous and proficient In-House Dental Biller to enhance our expanding team. The perfect match for us would be someone with a deep understanding of dental billing processes, coding, and the management of insurance claims, who also possesses practical experience with PPO and Denti-Cal (Medi-Cal) billing and insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
● Submit and monitor dental claims for PPO, Denti-Cal, and other insurance providers, including Delta Dental
● Ensure accurate coding and prompt billing
● Manage the follow-up on unpaid claims and oversee appeals as necessary
● Confirm patient benefits and eligibility before appointments
● Address patient billing questions and clarify insurance coverage details
● Keep systematic records of claims, payments, and adjustments
● Pursue outstanding accounts diligently
Requirements:
● At least 1 year of experience in dental billing
● Proficient in dental codes and insurance submission protocols
● Experience with common dental software, notably Dentrix
● Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
● Organized, dependable, and capable of working autonomously
