Hello, my name is George. I hail from Armenia and have been residing in Los Angeles for the past 10 years. My language proficiencies include Armenian, English, Spanish, and Russian. With this diverse linguistic background, I am excited to offer private tutoring services. My expertise extends across grammar, reading, vocabulary, and literature, catering to both high school and community college students. Additionally, I provide specialized tutoring in Psychology.
My academic credentials include two Associate degrees in Spanish and Communication Studies from Los Angeles Valley College, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Northridge, and a Master of Education in Educational Counseling from the University of Southern California. My tutoring sessions are reasonably priced at $35 per hour and can be conducted both in person and via ZOOM.

George has been a really solid tutor—super patient and clear, especially when switching between Armenian and English explanations. We did a few Zoom sessions and he came prepared with examples and practice that actually matched what I was working on in class. The $35/hr rate feels fair for his background, and scheduling was pretty easy. Only minor thing is he can run a couple minutes over time, but I didn’t mind since it was helpful.
